The HD3SS460 is a high-speed bi-directional passiveswitch in mux or demux configurations. Based oncontrol pin POL the device provides switching toaccommodate connector flipping. The device alsoprovides muxing between 2Ch Data/2Ch Video and all 4Ch Video based on control pin AMSEL.

The device also provides cross points MUX for lowspeed pins as needed in flippable connectorimplementation.

The HD3SS460 is a generic analog differentialpassive switch that can work for any high speedinterface applications as long as it is biased at acommon mode voltage range of 0-2V and hasdifferential signaling with differential amplitude up to1800mVpp. It employs an adaptive tracking thatensures the channel remains unchanged for entirecommon mode voltage range.

Excellent dynamic characteristics of the device allowhigh speed switching with minimum attenuation to thesignal eye diagram with very little added jitter. Itconsumes <2 mW of power when operational and<5μW in shutdown mode, exercisable by EN pin.

评估板USB Type-C™ Mini Dock EVM

The USB Type-C and Power Delivery (PD) mini-dock evaluation module (EVM) provides a completereference solution for a USB Type-C dock including audio, USB data, power, and video. The EVM has asmall 2 in × 4 in form factor and supports both source and sink power capabilities over the primary USBType-C PD port. Video output capabilities include both DisplayPort and HDMI.

• Power
This EVM has the following bi-directional power capabilities:
C Externally powered by 20-V DC barrel jack (J31). Upon successful power contract negotiation, thedock can source up to 20 V at 3 A.
C Externally powered by a USB Type-C Charger (J30). Upon successful power contract negotiation,the dock can source 5 V at 3 A or 12C20 V at 5 A.
C Bus-powered from USB Type-C laptop. Upon successful power contract negotiation, the dock cansink 5 V at 3 A or 12C20 V at 3 A.
D823 or D822 blue LED turns on to indicate if a 20-V or 5-V power input is connected.
• DRP Full-Featured USB-C and PD Port
C TUSB8041 HUB with upstream connection via HD3SS460 alternate mode switch
C USB-C DFP using TUSB321 and HD3SS3212
C USB Type-A DFP
C 3.5-mm audio jack
